The Ouielle Volume Weft Collection

One weft. A whole row.

Twenty-four to twenty-seven inches of continuous weft on a 0.70 mm machine-locked band. Cut it anywhere, sew it anywhere, and it will not unravel — the most hair per row of anything we make.

Ouielle volume machine weft

What makes it a volume weft

Tied by hand, locked by machine.

The strands are still knotted by hand — the machine only finishes the seam. That last pass is what lets you cut the weft to any width without it coming apart, and it is why a volume weft outlasts everything else in the collection.

A hand-tied weft

The flattest seam at 0.40 mm, but it arrives as three pre-cut 10" bundles and cannot be trimmed — there is no machine stitch to hold a cut edge.

A volume weft

One continuous 24–27" weft on a 0.70 mm flexible band. Cut each row to its own width, and the return hair is sewn in so it sheds less and wears more comfortably.

More hair per row means fewer rows, a shorter appointment and less to move up every six weeks.

Your transformation

More hair, fewer rows

A single weft covers what would take several tape-in tabs or a pack of pre-cut bundles. For thick or coarse hair that swallows a lighter method, this is the one that finally reads as a change.

  • 50–60g single weft · 24"–27" wide · 20" and 22"
  • 0.70 mm flexible, micro-thin band
  • Cut anywhere — the machine-finished seam holds
  • Return hair sewn in — less shedding, more comfortable wear
  • 12A salon-grade virgin Remy, cuticle aligned, double drawn
  • Reusable 12 months or more — remove, re-sew, re-wear

How it works

Three steps, start to finish

01

Match your shade

Send a photo in natural light and a stylist matches you by hand, free. Or order a colour ring and hold every shade against your own hair first.

02

Cut to the row

Measure the section, cut the weft to match, and the machine-finished seam holds. One weft usually covers two to three rows depending on head size.

03

Bead, sew and wear

Anchor the row with beads and sew the weft on with thread. Move up every six weeks, and re-sew the same hair for a year or more.

How many wefts do I need?

1 weft · Fill

Fill a thin area

Cut one weft into shorter pieces and place them only where you need them — a sparse crown, a thin temple, a fringe line. A lift nobody can spot.

2 wefts · Volume

Thickness through the ends

Enough width to run two full rows across the back, so your mid-lengths and ends stay thick to the tip instead of tapering off. The most requested build.

The full transformation

Rows from nape to crown, each cut to its own width. For thick or coarse hair, this is the density that finally reads as a change.

The detail

Engineered down to the last detail

Cut anywhere, no unravelling

Hand-knotted strands, then a machine pass that locks the seam along its whole length. A cut edge stays put, so you size the hair to the head instead of the other way round.

Return hair sewn in

The return hair is stitched back into the band rather than left loose. Less shedding, a flatter finish where the row meets the scalp, and no scratch against the neck.

12A, double drawn

Salon-grade virgin Remy, cuticles all running one way so it never tangles on itself, with the short hairs drawn out by hand so the weft is as thick at the end as it is at the root.

A perfectly placed row still shows if the colour is wrong. Ouielle shades are mixed to sit against real hair — ash without green, black without blue, blonde without brass — and matched to your photograph by hand.
