How do I wash my hair extensions?
Our hair extensions are made with 100% remy human hair, which means they can be washed and styled just like your own natural hair. Since your extensions aren't subject to the oils produced by your scalp the way your natural hair is, you don’t have to wash them as often. As a general rule, the less you wash your extensions the longer they will last.
If your extensions feel like they’re becoming increasingly difficult to style, this is likely a sign that there is product build-up and they need some TLC or to be moved up. All install application methods can be washed daily (but we suggest every 3 days). Installations last and average of 6-12 weeks before needing to be taken out and re applied. Please discuss your personal schedule with your stylist.
Only use professional styling products, shampoo and conditioner. Professional styling tools are recommended as they are less likely to cause split ends and breakage.
If you find you have breakage in your natural hair before hair extensions, please take all precautions in having healthy hair and a healthy hair lifestyle. This will not only support your own hair growth but the hair extension experience.
