The Ouielle Smart Weft Collection

A beaded row, without the thread.

A twin-tab weft your own hair threads straight through, then beads shut. The fastest beaded row there is — no needle, no thread wrapped around your natural hair, and 100 grams in a single weft.

What makes it smart

Your hair goes through it.

The weft is built as two tabs with a channel between them. A section of your own hair is pulled through the channel and beaded, so the weft sits on the row rather than being stitched to it.

A sewn-in row

Beads, then a needle and thread wrapped around your natural hair to hold the weft. It works, but every move-up means unpicking the stitching.

A Smart weft

Hair through the twin tab, bead closed, done. No thread touches your natural hair, and a move-up is opening beads rather than cutting stitches.

Faster in the chair, gentler on the hair, and far quicker to move up — which is why stylists reach for it on a full head.

Your transformation

A hundred grams, one weft

Twice the weight of a standard weft in a single piece. For thick or coarse hair that swallows a lighter method, this is the density that finally reads as a change.

  • 100g single weft · cut anywhere · 20" and 22"
  • Twin-tab construction — hair pulled through and beaded
  • No thread on your natural hair
  • 12A salon-grade 100% virgin Remy, cuticle aligned
  • Double drawn — thick from root to tip
  • Reusable 12 months or more — remove, re-bead, re-wear

How it works

Three steps, start to finish

01

Match your shade

Send a photo in natural light and a stylist matches you by hand, free. Or order a colour ring and hold every shade against your own hair first.

02

Thread and bead

Pull a section of your own hair through the twin tab and close a bead over it. No needle, no thread, no tension held by stitching.

03

Wear and move up

A full head goes in in about forty minutes. Move up every six weeks by opening the beads — there is no stitching to unpick.

How many wefts do I need?

1 weft · Fill

Fill a thin area

At 100 grams a single weft covers more than most fills need. Cut it down and place it only where your density drops off.

2 wefts · Volume

Thickness through the ends

Two rows across the back, so your mid-lengths and ends stay thick to the tip instead of tapering off. The most requested build.

3 wefts · Full head

The full transformation

Three hundred grams placed from nape to crown. Heavy, glossy and unmistakably a change.

The detail

Engineered down to the last detail

Twin-tab construction

The channel between the tabs is what removes the thread from the equation. It is the single biggest reduction in appointment time we have found.

Cut anywhere

Size each row to its section. The seam holds a cut edge, so nothing frays over the six weeks between move-ups.

12A, double drawn

Salon-grade virgin Remy, cuticles all running one way so it never tangles on itself, with the short hairs drawn out by hand so it is as thick at the end as it is at the root.

A perfect install still shows if the colour is wrong. Ouielle shades are mixed to sit against real hair — ash without green, black without blue, blonde without brass — and matched to your photograph by hand.
