A How to guide: Tape in Hair Extensions head map guide for a perfect installation every time

Have you ever wondered how to do the perfect placement of hair extensions? Our mapped out guide shows you exactly how to add volume, length and hide hair loss with our head map for tape-in hair extensions

 

LENGTH AND VOLUME INSTALLATION OPTION 1:

Install the bottom row of 3 tabs in the nape area.

Install the second to last row of 4 tabs just behind the ears making sure the tabs are laid out in a bricklayer pattern on top of the previous section.

Install the third row of 5 extensions two inches above to ear connecting in the back center of the head. 

Install the fourth row of 6 extensions taps starting at the parietal on both sides of the head, remembering that each row is laid in a bricklayer pattern on top of the previous row to ensure coverage.

Install the top row of 2 extensions just above the temple region to add fullness to the hairline. For best results use our Pro Invisible tabs as it will give the look of growing directly from the scalp. 

 

LENGTH AND VOLUME INSTALLATION OPTION 2:

Install the bottom row of 2 tabs in the nape area.

Install the second to last row of 3 tabs in the upper nape area, laying in a bricklayer pattern on top of the previous row.

Install the third row of 4 tabs just behind the ears making sure the tabs are laid out in a bricklayer pattern on top of the previous section.

Install the fourth row of 5 extensions two inches above to ear connecting in the back center of the head. 

Install the top row of 6 extensions tabs starting at the parietal on both sides of the head, remembering that each row is laid in a bricklayer pattern on top of the previous row to ensure coverage.

VOLUME INSTALLATION:

This option is mostly utilized when you are looking to enhance volume in the hair and not length.  

Install two rows of extensions, 4 extensions on the bottom and 5 extensions on the top laid in a bricklayer pattern to ensure coverage.
